The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
